Glaucoma Fellowship Programme

LONG TERM FELLOWSHIP

Objective:
Long term fellowship aims at in depth training in diagnosis as well as proper medical and surgical management of all types of glaucoma.

Duration:
6 months

Eligibility:
Ophthalmologist (M.S, DNB, DOMS).

Should have basic cataract surgery skills.

Programme Structure:
To learn OPD diagnostic skills like tonometry, gonioscopy, disc evalutation and investigations like perimetry and OCT.
To understand the approach to glaucoma diagnosis and learn the art of medical management.
Learn glaucoma laser procedures.
To develop glaucoma surgical skills and learn to manage complications.

Hands on Surgeries:
15 to 20 cases (depending on surgical skills) of Trabeculectomy plus laser procedures.
