Her area of expertise includes Phacoemulsification, Small Incision Cataract Surgery (SICS), Toric and Multifocal Intra-ocular Lens Implantation, Phakic IOL and LASIK. She obtained her M.B.B.S. degree from Government Medical College, Aurangabad (Maharashtra University of Health Sciences MUHS, Nashik) in October 2004. She has keen interest in academics and teaching and has presented papers in state and national conferences.
